Nurse Practitioner Reimbursement

This article addresses problems related to nurse practitioner reimbursement and the Rural Health Clinic Services Act of 1977. An overview of payor policies prior to the passage of P.L. 95-210 is presented, followed by a discussion of some of the difficulties in implementing the statute.
